Study Groups
The G-Tercoa aims to present its studies and scientific productions in the field of education, with a fundamental focus on Mathematics Education, emphasizing research sub-areas that involve: curriculum, assessment, teaching and learning, methodologies, theories, epistemology, digital technologies, educational computing, and the training of mathematics teachers, with the perspective of establishing a more effective relationship between postgraduate and undergraduate studies, linking scientific research with extension activities.
It also aims to describe and contribute to reducing existing challenges in teaching and learning processes, in order to examine their implications and propose innovative actions, based on creative pedagogical practices using teaching methodologies and digital technological resources, seeking to align these actions with critical reflections on quality education based on citizenship, interdisciplinarity, and transdisciplinarity.
The study group is divided into two main groups:
The undergraduate group, which meets every Monday between 3 pm and 5 pm. This group is made up of undergraduate students and scholarship holders from projects coordinated by Professor Dr. Maria José Costa dos Santos.
The second group also meets on Mondays, from 5 pm to 9 pm, and is mostly made up of graduate students, teachers from the education system, and researchers.
