1st Brazilian Meeting on the Theory of Objectification – EBTO
1st Brazilian Meeting on the Theory of Objectification – EBTO
The Study and Research Group “Weaving Cognitive Learning Networks” (G-TERCOA/CNPq) was significantly present at the 1st Brazilian Meeting on the Theory of Objectification (EBTO), held from April 24 to 26, 2024, in Recife (PE).
The EBTO, in its first edition, was a nationwide event that gathered researchers, teachers, students, and the academic community interested in learning about, discussing, and disseminating the Theory of Objectification. Researchers from different research groups, both Brazilian and foreign, were present as guest speakers or as members of the event’s scientific and organizing committees. The edition focused its themes on “Challenges and possibilities for Science and Mathematics teaching-learning,” proposing to discuss not only theoretical elements but also applications of the theory for contemporary, plural, democratic, inclusive, critical, and updated educational practices. G-TERCOA was present with several of its members presenting papers, and as a highlight, Prof. Dr. Glessiane Coeli Freitas Batista Prata, a member of the group, served as a mediator for one of the roundtables.
