VII Dialogues between Mathematics and Pedagogy: the teaching of Mathematics in Basic Education
IV Research Seminar: challenges and conceptions
On November 27th, the organizers of the VII DIMA consider it a favorable moment to discuss the mathematical training of graduates in Mathematics and Pedagogy, as these professionals are responsible for working with all the basic mathematics content in schools.
The VII Dialogues on Mathematics is justified by the importance of the theme and the possibilities of Pedagogy meeting with Mathematics, reducing epistemological distances.
The IV SEPESQ is also relevant in this context, as it represents an alternative to connect academia with schools, regarding inquiry-based teaching, the questioning teacher, and the student as protagonist.
Target audience: students of Pedagogy courses, students of Mathematics (teaching degree), teachers who teach mathematics in basic and higher education, and professionals in the field of education, as well as those generally interested in the topic.
